| You guys all have talents right? If you've found it and you want to use it for Zambia... then great! I know that Simon is good at everything. Actually mirco isnt bad either. We have some choir members amoungst the 7th years that went... how about you! Are you up for singing/playing an instrument/dancing/doing a skit or ANYTHING for fundraising?! | |

| I totally don't mind making an idiot of myself - can't think of any specific things to do though. ...We could just stand around rue neuve with collection pots one day (after we get t-shirts/badges). | |

| That's actually a good idea - at my old school, it was a popular thing for people to pay money to chuck sponges at the teachers during school fetes. We could all do that. Of course that requires a school fete to roll around some time... | |

| Around the christmas period it might be a good money raiser to put on a human nativity scene. Not sure how realistic I'm being here though. | |

| From Wiki :
Stand and sing of Zambia, proud and free, Land of work and joy in unity, Victors in the struggle for the right, We have won freedom's fight. All one, strong and free.
Africa is our own motherland, Fashion'd with and blessed by God's good hand, Let us all her people join as one, Brothers under the sun. All one, strong and free.
One land and one nation is our cry, Dignity and peace 'neath Zambia's sky, Like our noble eagle in its flight, Zambia, praise to thee. All one, strong and free.
CHORUS (Sung After Third Verse Only)
Praise be to God. Praise be, praise be, praise be, Bless our great nation, Zambia, Zambia, Zambia. Free men we stand Under the flag of our land. Zambia, praise to thee! All one, strong and free.
When we were there, they only sang the first verse apparently (that's all I remembered anyway). | |

| Kind of like how nobody in England knows the national anthem beyond verse one I find it strange that their national anthem is in english, or is that just a translation? | |

| Actually i'm going to teach you something new! How exciting!
Its actually the south african national anthem, but with SOUTHAFRICA changed to ZAMBIA. (don't pay attention to sylables, it works in some african language!) It was copied when zambia took its independance and most zambians are proud of it, hence the fact that they learn it at school!
